The Flat Par Tri 17

American DJ will showcase a variety of new lighting units in Hall 11.0 #D67 at Pro Light + Sound April 6-9 at Messe Frankfurt. Here is a small sampling of what American DJ will be highlighting in Frankfurt:

Vizi Scan LED Pro -- This new DMX-controlled product represents the rebirth of the scanner. It combines two effects in one: a hard edge spot beam and a frost wash. It has a three-facet and infinite prism wheel, 540-degree standard pan and an optional 630-degree pan, 35-degree tilt and a 13-degree beam angle. In addition to covering a very wide area, the Vizi Scan LED Pro produces super bright light and rich intense colors with a 50W LED source (60,000-hour life). Other notable features include remote focus, eight dichroic colors plus white, seven rotating gobos, gobo shake and gobo indexing, gobo scroll mode, strobing, a frost effect so it can perform as a wash and remote DMX addressing. Its Slock slide lock gobo changing system makes it quick and easy to remove and change gobos.

Vizi Spot LED Pro - American DJ reinvents the moving head with this high performance fixture that is really two lights in one: a hard edge spot beam and a wash-frost effect. Powered by a 50W long life (60,000-hour) LED source with a low power draw (130W), this compact and affordable fixture offers pro-level features that are more commonly found in much higher-priced products. Among its more notable features are: eight dichroic colors plus white, seven interchangeable rotating gobos, a prism wheel with three-facet and infinite prisms, remote focus, gobo indexing, 0-100% dimming, strobing, gobo scroll, and two DMX modes. Like the Vizi Scan LED Pro it features the Slock slide lock gobo changing system.

Spherion WH LED - Remember the dawn of disco? The new American DJ Spherion produces an effect that's similar to a mirror ball, but with an ultra-modern twist. Razor sharp beams from the effects five bright 3W LED sources and 116 lenses continuously rotate 360 degrees, without depending on sound activation, to fill an entire room with a constant transformative light show. A 270-degree beam angle adds to the fixture's dramatic effect. The Spherion runs very cool with no duty cycles so it can perform all night. It's economical to operate too with a low 27W max power draw and a 50,000 LED lamp life rating.

Flat Par Tri 17 -The new American DJ Flat Par Tri17 is a professional "low profile" LED PAR can with extremely bright output. It features seven 3W TRI LEDs (three-in-one RGB) and will not cast any RGB shadows. The unit's dual hanging brackets make it suitable for mobile and permanent installations. It can even be used for uplighting. The Flat Par TRI7 has seven different DMX channel modes, and may also run in Sound Active or Master/Slave modes. It can also be operated wirelessly using the ADJ LED RC wireless remote (sold separately). The Flat Par TRI7's LEDs are rated at 50,000 hours, and only draws 25W of power per fixture.
