Bandit Lites Promotes Andy Reese and Erich Hudgens

Andy Reese and Erich Hudgens, Bandit Ltes

With summer heating up and a multitude of projects rolling out of the Nashville, Tennessee location, Bandit Lites, the world's premier concert lighting company, is pleased to share the recent promotions of two valued staff members, Andy Reese and Erich Hudgens.

Reese joined Bandit Lites nearly seven years, proving a vital addition to the purchasing team. In his new role as director of purchasing, Reese will provide support to the sales and production staff to facilitate timely and cost-effective purchases across the entire company.

"I am excited to be in this new position and look forward to supporting both our sales and production business as it continues to grow," said Reese.

"Andy joined us from the facilities side of the business and brought a skillset and sense of the business that was very beneficial," said Bandit Lites chair Michael T. Strickland. "Every year, Andy adds value, ideas, and opportunities to what we do. His unique perspective is invaluable to the team and we look forward to more great things from Andy."

Hudgens joined Bandit Lites in 2005, and during his tenure, Hudgens has served in multiple roles, starting on the road and moving into the Nashville office. "I spent time on tour with Erich and was pleased when I had the ability to bring him on in my previous role as Shop Foreman," said Nashville General Manager Mark Steinwachs. "I enjoyed watching him take that position and make it his own which is what has led him to where he is now. His knowledge and skill set go far beyond doing shows, a factor that is incredibly needed when you are looked upon to handle the array of things he does, from trucking to shipping to maintaining three facilities and more beyond that."

As Bandit Lites facilities, logistics, and safety director, Hudgens will be responsible for all shipping needs, planning and implementing safety policies and procedures, companywide, in addition to overseeing all Nashville facility maintenance and upkeep.

"I am very pleased to take on new responsibilities," said Hudgens. "This means a lot to me and I predict it will allow the company and myself to be greater."

The promotion of these two individuals was necessitated by the continued and rapid growth of Bandit Lites. Stay tuned for more announcements in the near future!
