Alcons Pro-Ribbon Experience Live at InfoComm 2016

	Alcons Audio's LR18 compact mid-size line-array

InfoComm 2016 marks the official five-year US anniversary date and audio innovator Alcons Audio will have a strong presence in and around the show. Besides being present with a booth (C12316) June 8 - 10 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Alcons will also be hosting on-site demonstrations, as well as an off-site product launch and a special pre-InfoComm presentation.

Immediately prior to InfoComm, Alcons is sponsoring Display Summit, a thought leadership event with all of the sessions and presentations during the summit heard through Alcons' LR7 micro line-array. David Rahn will give a special presentation on "The Importance of Audio to the Experience" on Monday, June 6th at 2:15pm at the Flamingo Hotel and Casino.

During InfoComm, a selection of Alcons systems will be on display on the show floor at the Alcons booth C12316; Among which, the RR12 pro-ribbon point-source array system as recently installed in the prestigious Faulkner Performing Arts Center at the University of Arkansas, and the QR24 line-source array column; what the company says is the perfect solution for crystal-clear, undistorted sound reproduction in acoustically-challenging rooms, without the need for electronic steering.

However, the company notes the best opportunity to hear what the unique Alcons "pro-ribbon buzz" is all about, is visiting the "Alcons Pro-Ribbon Experience." For the first time ever, Alcons is present with an on-site demo room. In demo room N104 a range of different pro-ribbon based (surround) sound systems can be experienced; From point-source, point-source array to line-source array solutions.

Following the European introduction at Prolight + Sound, InfoComm will see the official debut of the Alcons LR18 pro-ribbon line-array in the USA. This three-way, "compact-mid-size" format line-source sound system, combines the highest sound quality possible with very high SPL capabilities and throw. It was recently tested in Germany with what the company reports was "excellent results, demonstrating the benchmark-setting qualities of this line-array."

On Thursday evening a special presentation will be made with the unique system. In partnership with Stoney's Rockin' Country (6611 S Las Vegas Blvd #160, Las Vegas, Nevada 89119) the new Alcons LR18 compact-mid-size line-array will be showcased during the evening's entertainment at the ladies-night VIP party.
