AV Concepts Expands Inventory and Staff

AV Concepts has acquired more than $1million in new equipment and has launched an aggressive recruiting campaign - due, the company says, to exceptional growth already contracted for 2011. In 2010, it enjoyed a strong performance in its audio visual staging and convention services business segments while also introducing a successful new technology and innovation division, providing expertise in projection mapping and 3D holographic projection. The company projects an increase in revenue by more than 37% in Q1 of 2011 vs. the previous quarter.

The company's growth has prompted the hiring of additional employees in key areas such as project management, production, operations, and sales. Current plans are to further increase staffing in 2011, with the hiring of additional experts in these areas as well as marketing, audio technicians, video technicians, and CAD designers.

Extensive investment in new equipment included the acquisition of multi-camera HD Flypacks (with Sony HXC-100K multi-format studio cameras and the For-A HVS 350HS "1.5 M/E HANABI" switcher) as well as significant quantities of HD projectors, media servers, digital content management systems, and further audio system enhancements.
