FUNA International Supplier of the Year Award from Meyer Werft Shipyard

FUNA International was honored by the international shipbuilder, Meyer Werft GmbH, at its fifth annual Best Supplier of the Year Awards. With the award, Meyer Werft recognized FUNA for outstanding electrical engineering work on two top-of-the-line cruise ships: the AIDAblu and the Celebrity Eclipse, delivered respectively to AIDA Cruises and Celebrity Cruises in 2010.

FUNA's authorized officer Andreas Köhler and senior vice president Marc Goossens were present to accept the award at the ceremony held on February 10 at the Alte Werft convention center in Papenburg. "This very great honor is testament to the quality and dedication of the whole FUNA team," said Köhler. "We value our longstanding business relationship with Meyer Werft. They know they can rely on FUNA's service and expertise to give their customers the best products and to help them stay competitive in the marketplace."

Primary judging criteria for Meyer Werft's Supplier of the Year Awards were reliability, quality, organization, and occupational safety.
