HES to Launch SolaWash and Master Wing at Prolight + Sound

High End Systems Master Wing 4

Following the introduction of their successful HOG4 range of lighting consoles at LDI 2012, High End Systems has chosen the Prolight + Sound 2013 trade show, held in Frankfurt, Germany, to launch several innovative new lighting and control products. High End Systems' booth in hall 9 stand B80, will be the platform for the unveiling of their new SolaWash range of LED products. Additionally, lighting designers and other customers will get their first look at the new Master Wing 4 for the HOG4 family of products.

The SolaWash 19 and SolaWash 37 are high-brightness moving wash lights which will complement High End System's existing LED fixtures, the SolaSpot LED and Trackspot Bolt. Powered by 15W RGBW LED's as well as the addition of the deep hues provided by the company's Indigo Highlighter, the company says these fast, compact, and versatile fixtures are perfect for applications from rock and roll to theatre and corporate events. Features such as built-in dynamic patterns and lenses, a 12- to 65-degree zoom, variable CTO, and multiple fixture modes make SolaWash the right wash lights for many applications.

"The launch of SolaWash continues our emphasis on LED technology," says Chris Ferrante, director of product management, "as well as the continued additions to our automated line. However, this is only the beginning of what we have in store this year, with some extremely interesting projects in the pipeline!" Added CEO Bill Morris: "We are committed to delivering new, feature rich, and most importantly competitive products, and SolaWash provides just that mix."

As well as SolaWash, High End Systems will launch the Master Wing 4 for the HOG4 family, which has 30 fader-less playback masters -- as well as a rate encoder, also found on the HOG4. The Master Wing 4, like the Playback Wing 4, comes with a 15.6" widescreen touch panel and a slot for expansion with a super widget or MIDI timecode widget.

In addition, new features for the HOG 4 family will also be unveiled at the show. One highly desired new feature is command keys, which is the ability to attach any directory items to the LCD user keys.

Key company personnel will be in attendance at Prolight + Sound, April 10-13, in hall 9, booth B80 to give customers a closer look at these latest innovations. High End Systems is part of the Barco group.
