New Appointments at Philips Strand Lighting

Matthew Burstein and Jeff O'Brien

Philips Strand Lighting announces the improvement of its North American sales operations with the reorganization of three sales territories designed to strengthen client relations in the Northeastern and South Central United States, as well as Eastern Canada. To support the reorganized territories, the company has also appointed industry veterans Matthew Burstein as the northeastern US and eastern Canada sales manager, and Jeff O'Brien as the south central US sales manager.

"It feels great to have Matthew and Jeff joining the Philips Strand Lighting sales team," said Leonard Miller, North American sales manager. "In identifying three key regions where we needed to strengthen the presence and support of Philips Strand Lighting and Philips Selecon, we are extremely confident that we have found two experienced and talented sales managers who will immediately begin making an impact."

In the newly improved North American operational system, Burstein's Northeastern US territories include Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Upstate New York (including Orange and Putnam counties), Rhode Island, and Vermont. He will also be covering the Eastern regions of Canada which include New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, and Quebec.

"I am very excited to once again be a part of the Philips family," commented Burstein. "I have known and worked with many of the team members already in place, and I am eager to begin building relationships with our Philips Strand Lighting and Philips Selecon clients in both the United States and Canada."

O'Brien's south central US territory includes Arkansas, Colorado, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, and Wyoming.

O'Brien added, "Having watched the recent growth of Philips Strand Lighting in the marketplace, I am thrilled to begin supporting the work of our clients in the south central US. We have many great products and solutions to offer in a variety of applications, and I look forward to supporting the work of our clients in all of them."
