WorxAudio Technologies Selects Rachal for Sales Administration and Support Manager

Chris Rachal

WorxAudio Technologies has appointed Chris Rachal to the newly created position of sales administration and support manager. With a background that encompasses retail sales, on-air talent for the broadcast market, recording engineer, sound editor / composer, mobile DJ, and A/V technician, Rachal will be based at WorxAudio's corporate headquarters in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Rachal remains active as an audio engineer at Unity Church of Greensboro, where he serves as AV technician -- running sound and visuals for weekly services. After receiving his bachelor of arts degree in speech and mass communications from the University of West Georgia, Rachal entered the broadcast industry where he served as on-air talent / DJ for eighteen years. Even today, he remains active in the broadcast field and can be heard weekly on Greensboro's WQFS 90.9 FM. His music background includes study at The Recording Workshop in Chillicothe, Ohio. He has worked for the Music Loft, a music retail operation headquartered in Greensboro, as a sound editor and composer at Notion Music, also in Greensboro, and his mobile DJ and recording experience rounds out his skill set.

Rachal commented on his new position with WorxAudio Technologies, "With a highly respected and comprehensive product line, WorxAudio Technologies represents a terrific opportunity for me to take an active role in both sales and customer support with a well-known equipment manufacturer. I've always had a passion for audio and this new position enables me to further my career in an industry I love. It's the perfect combination of responsibilities and I'm really looking forward to getting involved in as many aspects of the business as I am able."

"I'm very pleased to have Chris joining our effort," says Hugh Sarvis, WorxAudio Technologies' CEO and director of engineering. "Chris' background in music, sales, and the broadcast market makes him a terrific choice for his multi-faceted role with WorxAudio. He understands what the live and installed sound professional looks for, and this is critically important when it comes to directing a prospective customer to the most appropriate products. His work experience adds depth and perspective to our organization. I'm confident he will do well."

Rachal started with WorxAudio Technologies in June.
