Danny Colosky Joins Stagecraft Institute of Las Vegas as Operations Manager

Danny Colosky will join Stagecraft Institute of Las Vegas as operations manager for SILV 2012. Colosky is a graduate of Sam Houston State University (SAM), where he was both an actor and a technician. While he was at SAM, he worked as the yard manager at the local McCoy's Building Supply, worked in the theatre department's scene shop, and completed a BFA degree. Additionally while at SAM, he designed the set for a production of Smokey Joe's Café, which advanced to the regional conference of KCACTF.

After graduation Colosky went to work as a carpenter and automation technician at the Alley Theatre in Houston. He was employed there for five years before accepting his current position as scene shop supervisor and clinical instructor at Oklahoma State University.

On joining with Stagecraft Institute, he said, "I am very excited about the possibilities for this summer. I am proud to become a player on the training side of SILV. This offers me great opportunity and a terrific challenge."
