Behind the Scenes Wellness Lounge Offers Special Activities at LDI 2025

As the industry prepares to gather in Las Vegas for the LDI 2025 Conference and Tradeshow December 7-9, Behind the Scenes announces a slate of special activities taking place as part of this year's programming. These special activities, many of which will be offered through the Behind the Scenes Wellness Lounge (Booth #510), invite attendees to participate in meaningful, restorative experiences designed to improve well-being both on and off the job.

Daily, at the BTS Wellness Lounge in Booth #510 the Las Vegas-based There Is No Hero in Heroin Foundation will return to present NARCAN Overdose Prevention Training. These 20-minute sessions teach attendees how to recognize the signs of an opioid overdose and safely administer NARCAN. Participants will receive a certificate of completion and a free Overdose Response Kit while supplies last. Training will be offered multiple times daily in the lounge, Sunday and Monday at 1:00pm, 2:00pm, and 3:00pm and Tuesday at 11:00am, 12:00pm, and 1:00pm to allow attendees to easily fit a session into their show schedule.

Also, for the first time in 2025 the BTS Wellness Lounge will offer Flash Career Coaching. This programming offers free, 30-minute one-on-one sessions with entertainment career coach Mark Heiser. Designed for professionals exploring growth, transitions, or creative renewal, these sessions provide a confidential space for reflection and guidance. Coaching runs Sunday and Monday, 4:00 - 6:00pm at Booth #510. Advance sign-ups are encouraged at careers@btshelp.org, with limited on-site sign-up availability.

On the show floor, BTS encourages every exhibitor and attendee to join the "We're Shining a Light on Mental Health" campaign, a visible and unifying effort to break stigma associated with mental health in the industry and promote open dialogue. Exhibitors participating in the campaign will have staff wearing "Shine a Light" buttons, signaling their support for mental-health awareness and compassion within the workplace. Attendees can pick up their own buttons available at Booth #510. If you are an exhibitor looking to join the campaign you can do so by contacting shinealight@btshelp.org.

Finally, BTS is grateful to LDI for organizing the Rise and Shine 5K taking place on Sunday, December 7, at 6:30am. The run, uniting attendees before the show opens, raises funds for Behind the directly supporting those in the entertainment industry who need help. Participants can pre-register online or join on-site, lacing up for a morning of purpose, community, and positive energy.

In addition to these special activities BTS will host a rotating schedule of short, focused talks by industry leaders in the Wellness Lounge. Among the topics are; Career Expansions/Transitions; Fueling Your Body; Movement, Stress, and Mental Health; Staying Grounded in Live Events; Staying Sober at the Bar; Dealing with Substance Misuse in the Workplace; The Biology of Sleep; The Effects of Sleep Deprivation in the Entertainment Industry; and Bystander Intervention in the workplace.

The BTS Wellness Lounge runs December 7-9 at Booth #510 on the show floor. For the complete schedule, visit btshelp.org/wellnesslounge.
