Snowbird Lounge Opens with 1 SOUND Audio System Snowbird Cocktail Lounge and Kitchen opened recently in Frisco, a suburb of Dallas, Texas. The 4,100-sq.-ft. space includes dining seating, lounge seating, and a 35'-long bar. Bespoke Technology Group, based in Dallas, was contracted to integrate the audio system. The venue, which has DJ booths upstairs and downstairs, needed an audio system fit for dinner ambiance as well as for private events and all-day brunches. Bespoke chose to go with 1 SOUND loudspeakers to offer high-fidelity sound quality and sonic intelligibility but with the capacity to get louder for high-energy nights. This was accomplished by utilizing the Cannon Coaxial Series, which, the company says, are known for their sonic quality and extended low-end, with the 6" coaxial version capable of a maximum SPL of 114dB. For the main bar/lounge space and the upper level, Bespoke implemented Cannon C6i units, utilizing C-Clamp accessories for mounting and aiming. The C6i units were complimented by SUB12 reflex subwoofers. For the private VIP room, four Cannon C5i units were deployed with no subwoofers. The Cannons have an extra octave of low end for a standard installation loudspeaker. For the outdoor patio, six Cannon C4s were used, 1 SOUND's construction allows for all loudspeakers to be IP55-rated to withstand outdoor usage.
