ADJ Introduces a New IkonA flexible, forward-thinking and affordable gobo projector that easily doubles as an effective spotlight unit, ADJ's new Ikon Profile combines a powerful 32W LED, an interchangeable glass gobo and manually adjustable beam angle/focus features in one exceptionally portable package. For starters, the beam angle may be manually adjusted (15- to 40-degrees) and the gobo swapped out, effectively allowing the projector to be turn instantly turned into a spotlight. With five dimmer curves available, the beams can be optimized for everything from architectural applications to stage performances. As well as changing the beam angle to suit their needs, users can also manually focus the unit to ensure a vivid projection at all times. Another key feature of the versatile Ikon Profile is its framing shutters. Being manually adjustable, they allow users to craft the light produced by the unit into any four-sided shape they want. Whether they require a square beam or a wider rectangular form, users can match the Ikon Profile's projection to venue features or specific areas, for a sleeker, more uniform look. Completing the Ikon Profile's innovative range of features, ADJ has fitted the unit with a single drop-in gobo slot (for 26.8mm gobos). This enables the use of metal gobos or glass, and users can easily interchange them to achieve different but equally as effective results. The compact new unit also makes the most of a color frame, giving users the flexibility to add color filters and color correction filters to generate powerful beam projections in a range of vivid hues. In terms of control, the Ikon Profile provides a four-channel DMX mode (with three-pin DMX connections) -- allowing users to go in-depth and get extra imaginative with their gobo light shows -- as well as offering compatibility with ADJ's UC IR remote and Airstream IR App, allowing for extensive wireless control from a distance of up to 30ft. So, whether they're working the lights from behind the bar or they're tucked away in the booth, users have the freedom to create from any position. Using the Airstream IR App, they can even trigger these unique gobo projections from the convenience of a handheld iOS device, for true versatility. Weighing in at just 6lb (2.7kg) and boasting compact dimensions (16" x 6" x 9" / 406mm x 152mm x 229mm), ADJ has ensured that the Ikon Profile can be easily incorporated into any setup, no matter how mobile it needs to be.
