Helen Hayes Awards Nominations Announced

The nominees for the 36th Annual Helen Hayes Awards were announced February 3. The awards will be presented May 18 at the Anthem in Washington, DC. Top nominees included Little Shop of Horrors at Constellation Theatre Company, Blood at the Root at Theatre Alliance, A Chorus Line at Signature Theatre, Cabaret at Olney Theatre Center, Cyrano de Bergerac at Synetic Theater, and Into the Woods at Ford's Theatre.

Awards are given in two categories, Helen and Hayes, based on the number of Equity actors appearing in the production.

The design nominees are:
