ADJ Prepares to Unleash More than a Dozen New Lighting Products at LDI 2016

ADJ is preparing to unveil 13 more at this month's LDI trade show in Las Vegas with a focus on value and performance. The new fixtures will continue the evolution of the brand's mid-range product line offering value for event production, nightclubs, and churches. Among the new releases are the Vizi BSW 300 LED-powered hybrid moving head, AV3 LED video panel, Penta Pix 5-head beam fixture, and myDMX 3.0 DMX control software.

Taking center stage on ADJ's 2016 LDI booth will be the new Vizi BSW 300, an LED-powered hybrid moving head fixture that generates beam, spot, and wash effects all from a single fixture. Offering incredible output, thanks to its 300W LED engine, the unit boasts a host of advanced features including two 6-facet prisms (one circular and one linear), two GOBO wheels (one with replaceable rotating GOBOs and the other with fixed static patterns) and two indexed color wheels.

Following the success of ADJ's first LED video panel, the AV6, ADJ will use LDI to launch a brand new video product, the AV3. Offering a denser pixel pitch of 3.91mm (compared to 6mm on the AV6), this new LED video panel inherits many of the traits of the AV6 but allows a shorter effective viewing distance. Offering impressive brightness of 1000 NITs and a wide viewing angle of 120°, both horizontally and vertically, the AV3 is designed for both fixed and temporary installations.

With an eye on the nightclub and mobile entertainment industry, ADJ will also display the Penta Pix 5-head beam fixture with pixel zone control at LDI 2016. The Penta Pix features five bright 15W RGBW 4-in-1 LEDs with ACL lens that produce razor sharp 6° beams of light. There are no moving parts and each head may be adjusted manually on it x-axis for creative beam directional control. There are 15 built-in show, 63 pre-set color macros, 3 DMX channel modes (4, 6, or 22 ch.), and comes with a LCD function display, powerCON & 3-pin DMX In/Out, and a scissor yoke.

At LDI 2016 the latest version of the software-based DMX control system, myDMX 3.0, will be debuted sporting a completely re-designed software package and an upgraded hardware interface. The new software version, compatible with PC or Mac, maintains the same usability as its predecessors while also introducing useful new features such as Live Snapshots, Blind Editing, and improved sound-to-light control through BPM audio analysis and pulse analysis. The new software also allows for up to four Scenes to be played simultaneously, and for Scenes to be arranged into groups. The release also introduces a new Show Mode (additional plug-in), which is a custom screen designer that can be locked to full screen or synchronized with a smart phone or tablet using the Easy Remote app. The hardware interface has also been improved, the company says, now offering internal backup memory that allows DMX sequences to continue running even if communication with the host computer is lost.

"The new products just keep coming from ADJ," says the company's USA national sales manager, Alfred Gonzales, "and we're looking forward to introducing the latest batch of exciting fixtures to LDI visitors with a focus on value and performance. I'm sure the Vizi BSW 300 will be a real eye-catcher thanks to its incredibly powerful LED light-source, while -- if the popularity of the original AV6 is anything to go by -- I'm positive there will be lots of interest in our new AV3 LED video panel.

The Penta Pix is sure to be a club favorite because of it exciting pixel control beam effects and hassle-free use. Finally, with powerful new features building on its tried and tested format, I think myDMX 3.0 is going to be well received by existing users and also attract lots of new lighting users, perhaps even some who haven't previously harnessed the full potential of DMX control. And that's just three of the twelve new products that we'll be unveiling at this year's LDI!"

LDI takes place October 21-23 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The ADJ booth -- #2817 -- will feature an awe-inspiring lightshow and all the latest products on demo. Members of the ADJ team will also be on hand to meet with customers and answer questions.
