Attendees from around the world will explore the future of lighting design at the world's largest annual architectural and commercial lighting trade show and conference, with the 2017 Lightfair trade show floor producing its largest footprint in history and showcasing two new pavilions. A full networking schedule will give attendees the opportunity to make connections with industry professionals from around the world.

Lightfair 2017 will afford attendees new discoveries, new connectivity, new knowledge, and new solutions propelling lighting design into the future. Two new pavilions -- Intelligent Lighting and IoT -- will display cutting-edge products and solutions showcased in product presentations featuring technology and connectivity innovations.

The Intelligent Lighting Pavilion features smart lighting solutions that provide the benefit of controlling the lighting in a space by using sensors and data to maximize efficiency and energy savings.

The IoT Pavilion displays the intricate technology used to create a network that uses the power of connectivity to achieve greater efficiency, reduce operation costs and collect valuable data.

Lightfair's conference program is where lighting and design professionals learn about what's on the horizon. The knowledge shared by top industry practitioners informs the global community of the newest discoveries and practices. Courses range from 60 minutes to two days in length and cover relevant topics while providing insight and inspiration from the industry's top thought leaders.

The HUB will continue to be the interactive meeting space where those in the lighting and design community connect with colleagues from across the globe for networking, education, and fun. There will be events in the New Exhibitor Pavilion which provide attendees the chance to view the latest innovations from first-time exhibitors while enjoying refreshments.

Preceding and setting the stage for the trade show opening, the LFI Innovation Awards will highlight the industry's most innovative products and designs introduced during the last 12 months. The presentation will take place on May 9 beginning at 8:00am, with the LFI trade show floor opening at 9:00am.
