Nemetschek Vectorworks Launches Chinese Version of Vectorworks 2015

Global design software developer Nemetschek Vectorworks, Inc. has released the Chinese-language version of the Vectorworks 2015 line of design software, including Vectorworks Designer, Architect, Landmark, Spotlight, Fundamentals, and Renderworks.

The Vectorworks 2015 software contains more than 100 updates and new features in the areas of architecture, BIM, urban planning, and entertainment design. In previous versions, the power of 64-bit was only available in the platform's photorealistic rendering engine, Renderworks, but has now been integrated throughout the entire Vectorworks 2015 product line, providing designers with the ability to handle larger projects, as well as better performance and stability. In addition, designers will observe a revolutionary graphical experience from advances made to the Vectorworks Graphics Module (VGM).

"Updates for the 2015 Vectorworks software have been made with designers' best interests in mind," said Cecil Fung, managing director of Mad Macs Technology Distributions Limited, the Vectorworks distributor in China. "For instance, the 64-bit feature is beneficial when considering and adopting an improved design solution in China because the geographical scale of projects in the country and the common composition of multi-disciplinary teams often demand the computational and coordination efficiencies that the program provides."

Mad Macs will host launch events in Guangzhou (April 3, 2015), Shenzhen (April 6, 2015), Shanghai (April 9, 2015), Beijing (April 14, 2015), Nanjing (April 16-17, 2015), Hangzhou (April 27, 2015) and Chongqing (May 6, 2015), providing an introduction to new features in Vectorworks 2015 that will benefit architectural, commercial space design, landscaping and planning, and stage and exhibition lighting designers.

Members of the press, industry group representatives and those interested in learning more about the Chinese-language version of Vectorworks 2015 are invited to attend the launch events and will be joined by attendees from state-owned, private sector and academic institutes. To sign up to attend, email events.2015@vectorworks.cn or register online.
