dBTechnologies Showcases IS Series Platform and Integrated System Approach at InfoComm 2026

dBTechnologies invites InfoComm attendees to explore the IS Series -- its installation-focused passive loudspeaker platform engineered for scalable, repeatable system design across enterprise, education, hospitality, and performance environments. InfoComm 2026 will take place June 13-19 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Also on demo: the new VIO L1608, a compact three-way, tri-amplified active line array system that "breaks the rules" for size to SPL ratio by utilizing the company's research into precision-scaled acoustic architecture.

Founded in 1990 in Bologna, Italy, dBTechnologies combines in-house R&D, design, and manufacturing to deliver systems with consistent voicing, predictable coverage, and long-term reliability -- enabling integrators to move efficiently from specification to commissioning with confidence.

The IS Series is built as a cohesive platform, aligning loudspeakers, amplification, and control to simplify system design, reduce tuning time, and support consistent results across multi-zone and multi-room deployments. Designed for permanent installation where audio performance is the priority, IS Series solutions take a cost-effective approach -- featuring essential but still flexible deployment hardware, without the added bulk of touring systems designed for daily reconfiguration.

Supporting the platform, the IA Series amplifiers provide high-density, DSP-enabled power with networked control via Aurora Net, available in RDNet or Dante configurations -- streamlining integration into AV-over-IP and IT-managed environments.

The main demo will focus on the IS Series, with listening sessions every even hour throughout the day, demonstrating real-world application scenarios and system behavior. A dedicated IS Series demonstration highlights a precision-distributed, multi-source immersive configuration built entirely around IS Series IS26 loudspeakers. The setup is designed to showcase controlled directivity, spatial coherence, and consistent coverage across a highly resolved listening environment -- illustrating how compact point-source systems can be deployed to achieve immersive, technically rigorous results in advanced installation contexts.

Also featured in the demo room is the VIO platform -- dBTechnologies' flagship touring-grade line array system -- with listening sessions with the newly released VIO L1608 compact three-way line array, paired with VIO subwoofers.

The complete Ingenia steerable column platform will be on display in the booth, with team members available for guided system walkthroughs and application discussions.

"What excites us most is the level of engineering depth behind the brand," says Colin Studybaker, president of dBTechnologies USA. "dBTechnologies has consistently reinvested in R&D, and it shows -- both in the acoustic design and in the technologies that support it. The company has built a reputation as a true 'technology-driven' manufacturer, with innovation spanning amplification, DSP, and system control, all developed alongside its loudspeaker platforms. We were also among the early innovators in active line array systems delivering cost-effective, high-performance solutions."

dBTechnologies is built to work within real-world project ecosystems. The IS platform integrates easily, the company says, supporting third-party amplification where desired, while the applications team provides full system design support and guidance throughout the process. For integrators, this translates into confidence -- systems that are easier to specify, adaptable to different project requirements, and reliable in deployment.

In the Americas, dBTechnologies USA provides localized technical support, training -- including its VIO Academy -- and individual project assistance.

InfoComm attendees are invited to experience dB Technologies' systems first-hand and connect with the team at Booth #N6127 and demo room N120.
