Annual Jeff Awards Equity Nominations Announced in Chicago

The nominees for the 48th Annual Jeff Awards, honoring Chicago Theatre, were announced August 30. The ceremony will be held October 27 at Drury Lane Oakbrook, 100 Drury Lane, Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois.

Bill Morey leads the Design categories with three costume design -- midsize nominations (Dreamgirls, Far From Heaven, and Side Show).

Also with three Design nominations is Deathtrap: Jeffrey D. Kmiec for scenic design -- large, Ryan Hickey for sound design -- large, and Cassy Schillo for properties and set dressing (artistic specialization).
