Meyer Sound to Hit New Lows at CFX 2023 in Dallas

Meyer Sound will be hosting visitors on the main convention floor in Booth 133 as well as in demo room A202.

As part of the company's renewed focus on the worship market, Meyer Sound will return to Dallas for the Church Facilities Expo (CFX) at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center from October 9-11. Meyer Sound will be hosting visitors on the main convention floor in Booth 133 as well as in demo room A202.

In the demo room, CFX attendees will have a unique opportunity to audition the new 2100-LFC low-frequency control element, the newest addition to the Meyer Sound product line, bringing the highest levels of performance into a practical package that lifts any system to new levels, the company says.

"CFX will be one of the first trade shows where we've shown the 2100-LFC," says Meyer Sound sales manager, west, leader of sales success and strategy Daniel Rivera. "It will be a unique opportunity for worship leaders and sound engineers to experience first-hand the power and musicality of the 2100-LFC on a wide variety of playback material."

For the demo sessions, a pair of ULTRA-X40 compact loudspeakers will provide complementary full-range reproduction.

"Powerful deep bass reproduction is increasingly important in contemporary worship music, and in rooms of all sizes," notes Rivera. "And while it's true that the 2100-LFC will more often be configured with larger systems, even with the compact ULTRA-X40 loudspeakers in this intimate environment the benefits of the 2100's new technology will be clearly evident. Even at lower levels, the punch, the smoothness, and the musical tonality will be obvious."

Incorporating technologies first introduced in the PANTHER large-format linear line array loudspeaker, including direct connection to Milan AVB networks, the 2100-LFC employs a single 21-inch driver and a new Class D power amplifier to produce prodigious acoustic output from 30Hz to 125Hz from a relatively compact and lightweight enclosure.

Demonstrations will be available every two hours on Tuesday, October 10 on the odd hours from 9am to 5pm; and on Wednesday, October 11 on the even hours from 8am to 4pm. Reservations for the sessions may be made at meyersound-cfx-2023-demos.eventbrite.com. A PANTHER line array loudspeaker will be on display at the floor booth, along with a CAL column array loudspeaker.

Kent Margraves, Meyer Sound US sales manager, midwest, will be the featured speaker for an educational session, "Live Sound: Q&A for Live Mixing," on October 10 at 1:45 PM on the Worship Production Stage. He also will be a panelist for "CFX Leadership Collective: Worship Production," with sessions on October 9 at 2pm, October 10 at 9:15pm, and October 11 at 8am, all sessions in room A115. "Meyer Sound has targeted the worship market as one of our main focal points for the coming year," says Rivera. "We are renewing our commitment to the worship community with industry-leading new products, like the 2100-LFC, as well as the highest level of service and support, from system design through commissioning and follow-up. We expect that, at CFX, we will be renewing our many existing relationships as well as making new connections that will last long into the future."
