Nominations Announced for the Olivier Awards The nominations are in for the Olivier Awards, which honor achievements in the London theatre scene. Leading the way with nominations are the Regent Park Open Air Theatre revival of Fiddler on the Roof, which transfers to the Barbican Theatre in May; the musical Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812, based on a portion of Leo Tolstoy's novel War and Peace, staged at Donmar Warehouse; Giant, a new drama about the novelist Roald Dahl; The Years, a drama based on the memoir of the same name by the French author Annie Ernaux. Other productions cited in the design categories are Spirited Away, the stage adaptation of the Studio Ghibli film; Ballet Shoes, a National Theatre production based on a popular novel; a National Theatre revival of Shakespeare's Coriolanus; a new revival of the classic musical Oliver!; a revival of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Starlight Express; a revival of Sophocles' Oedipus; and the pantomime Robin Hood.
