MEGA-LITE Circa XL at Koe Wetzel's Night Champion Tour

Koe Wetzel's Night Champion Tour brings a Texas-inspired setting to arenas, amphitheaters, and festivals across the country. The production combines the feel of a Texas hunting lodge and a classic cigar lounge, with 42 MEGA-LITE Circa XL fixtures playing an important role in creating the look of the stage.

For production manager Morgan Burton, one of the main goals was to maintain a consistent show across venues of different sizes and capacities. Partnering with PRG played an important role in meeting this challenge, helping the team adapt the production to different environments while maintaining the same look and production quality. The team designed the show with flexibility in mind, allowing the stage and lighting elements to adapt to each venue without losing the overall design.

The Circa XL fixtures became part of the stage design, adding to the look of the set even when they are turned off. Their classic, film-light-inspired appearance gives them a vintage feel, while their LED technology offers modern lighting capabilities.

"One of the things that I think is neat about that instrument is the LED halo ribbon that it has around the outside of the fixture," shares Burton. "If you don't use it for the first couple of songs, nobody sees it coming. So it's a nice extra layer to that instrument."
