Gefen Premiers New GefenPRO 32x32 DVI Matrix

Gefen has announced the availability of its new GefenPRO 32x32 DVI matrix. This bigger matrix routes any 32 computers to any 32 professional displays with full cross-point capability. Resolutions are supported up to 1920x1200 or 1080p in the DVI format.

Users can select any combination of computers to be viewed on one or more displays. Built-in EDID storage and programming features enhance the stability of pre-settings after the computers are switched. This large-scale, cross-point matrix comes with two internal, redundant power supplies, easy to use front-panel push buttons for routing with status LCD readout, and 24/7 Gefen technical support for installers and integrators. The robust, rack-mountable frame is designed to withstand demanding environments.

Additional features include removable input/output PCBAs, allowing for future mix matrix configurations including Extra Long Range extension over CAT5 cable or fiber optic output extension modules. An open architecture and an amazingly fast switch with very low cross-talk between computers and displays makes this matrix a dependable addition to any digital video editing system.

Though designed to supply audio/video and studio professionals with a solution for accessing many different workstations, it is also suitable for digital signage distribution, large presentations and video wall applications that need immediate access to various computer sources. RS-232 serial control, IR remote, front panel push buttons and IP web-based control makes it easy to access and control.
