Auerbach Consultants Announces New Staff and Promotions

Auerbach Pollock Friedlander | Auerbach Glasow announces promotions for three staff members, who have proven to be an invaluable part of the Auerbach team. Noting team members are the core of the company's success and vital to its continued high-quality of services. Their new positions represent their talent, hard work, and dedication to Auerbach's clients and colleagues.

With more than 11 years at the firm, Robert Hill, ASTC, principal, has become a valued leader, providing Auerbach clients the confidence that their projects will be successful. He brings more than 25 years of experience as a consultant and theatre professional to his work. In addition to managing some of our most complex and demanding projects around the globe, Hill is the studio manager for the San Francisco office.

Emily Brainerd, associate, joined Auerbach Pollock Friedlander's San Francisco office in 2011 and has since used her exceptional project management and design skills on many of our civic and educational projects. Brainerd is an experienced theatre professional, having worked as a technical director for Iowa State University prior to joining the firm.

Kevin Macpherson, LEED AP, associate, has been able to bring together his passions for theatre and architecture in his role at the firm. In the four years since he joined Auerbach Pollock Friedlander, he has been the lead designer for a broad range of projects from high schools to large commercial entertainment venues. Macpherson previously worked as a scenic and lighting designer and production manager in New York City, both on and Off Broadway.

Grace Gavin Rhodes, ASTC, senior associate, has rejoined the Auerbach Pollock Friedlander team. After her departure in 2008, her family relocated first to Europe and then to San Antonio, Texas. During her 12-year tenure with the firm, she worked on a variety of projects ranging from historic renovations and regional multi-purpose spaces to large multi-venue performing arts complexes throughout the world. The company notes it welcomes Gavin Rhodes back and looks forward to her collaboration on the design, documentation, and management of domestic and overseas projects.
