Linea Research Appoints Audio-Technica as Distribution Partner Across Germany and Iberia

Linea Research, the UK-based specialist in high-power amplification and DSP solutions, has appointed Audio-Technica as its distribution partner for the German and Spanish markets.

The partnership marks the latest milestone in Linea Research's international growth strategy, bringing the company's high-performance amplifiers and DSP solutions to customers across both regions through Audio-Technica's established sales and support network. As part of the Focusrite Audio Reproduction Group, the appointment sees Linea Research join a portfolio that already encompasses sister brands, Martin Audio, TiMax, and Optimal Audio.

Since 2003, Linea Research has built its reputation on setting standards in power amplification and DSP processing, earning the trust of sound engineers, consultants, institutions, and manufacturers worldwide. Across live sound and installed audio alike, its amplifiers and controllers are valued for their audio quality, performance, and reliability under the most demanding conditions, the company says.

"As part of the Focusrite Audio Reproduction Group, it is a logical step for us, following the addition of TiMax, to now include Linea Research in our distribution program and further strengthen our portfolio for both live sound and installed audio applications," explains Matthias Exner, managing director of Audio-Technica Deutschland GmbH.

Day-to-day, the brand will be championed on the ground in both territories. Benedikt Partl takes on Linea Research as brand manager at Audio-Technica Deutschland GmbH, while Alex Blanco assumes the same role at Audio-Technica Iberia. Both build on their existing remits for Martin Audio and TiMax, serving as the central points of contact for high-quality professional audio across live and installed applications in their respective markets.

Sylvain Hochart, managing director of Audio-Technica Iberia, adds: "We are looking forward to expanding Linea Research's presence across our markets. Together, these three brands allow us to provide a holistic approach to a wide range of projects and give customers the opportunity to source complete solutions from a single provider."

Martin Hildred, sales and marketing manager, Linea Research, welcomes the appointment: "We are delighted to have such a committed, reliable, and highly competent partner as Audio-Technica supporting our customers across the German and Spanish markets."
