Ampetronic, Listen Technologies Preview New Assistive Listening Products at ISE 2026Listen Technologies and Ampetronic are showcasing new Auri and Hearing Loop products at ISE 2026 in Barcelona this week. Listen Technologies is also previewing ListenWIFI 3.5, the latest iteration of its audio-over-Wi-Fi-based assistive listening solution. The brands' combined suite of assistive listening and communication solutions is on display at Booth #3S600. Auri, billed as the world's first assistive listening system based on Auracast broadcast audio technology, debuted in January 2025. Since then, it has been installed in stadiums, houses of worship, universities, transit stations, and theatres around the world. The system includes transmitters, receivers, manager software, docking stations, and a line of accessories. In venues featuring Auri transmitters, anyone with Auracast-compatible hearing aids, earbuds, headphones, or cochlear implants can choose to have venue audio delivered directly to their devices. Ambient sounds are filtered out, so listeners receive only the source audio. Dedicated Auri RX-1 receivers are available for venues to offer end users who do not have Auracast-compatible listening devices. Audio is broadcast from the Auri transmitter to the Auri receiver, and guests listen via connected earbuds or headphones. "We're excited to expand the Auri product line," says Trachy Bathurst, senior vice president and chief technology officers. "We are providing venues with more choices to create assistive listening solutions that meet their unique needs and the diverse listening needs of the end users they serve." In environments featuring hearing loops, the new LR 3200 HL hearing loop receiver delivers clearer, more consistent loop audio, no matter how users hold their receivers. The LR-3200-HL features dual telecoils, smart bandwidth, hum filtering, and full iDSP compatibility. ListenWIFI is an audio-over-Wi-Fi assistive listening solution that lets end users access venue audio using their own smartphones or a dedicated receiver. Guests connect instantly on the networks venues already have. Features include servers, manager software, receivers, the ListenWIFI mobile app, and beacons that provide location-based audio. ListenWiFi is designed for higher education, corporate environments, and houses of worship, where ambient noise and distance can make it difficult to hear clearly, the company says. New features and benefits of ListenWIFI 3.5, expected to be released in 2026, include support for WPA/WPA2-Enterprise, enabling dedicated receivers to authenticate and operate within enterprise-grade wireless networks; connection beacons that broadcast server identification information so devices can discover the correct server without relying on DNS; audio priority setting, so administrators can adjust LWR-1050 receiver buffering for optimal balances between audio quality and latency; and multiple owner accounts; and ecosystem-wide improvements. Applications of ListenWIFI 3.5 include assistive listening, video description, streaming audio from screens, and interpretation. "ListenWIFI 3.5 optimizes the ListenWIFI system with upgrades and features that improve system flexibility, compliance, and usability," says Cody Hall, product manager at Ampetronic | Listen Technologies. "We are always listening to the market and the needs of our customers and end users. Each enhancement and targeted innovation in ListenWIFI 3.5 is a response to that feedback and reflects our commitment to delivering personalized solutions and experiences."
