American DJ Inno Color Beam 12

Intense beam effects are changing the way lighting is designed at nightclubs, stage shows, and music concerts. Cutting through washes and other effects, high-impact narrow beam fixtures crate vivid swaths of light can add an eye-popping layer of drama and visual excitement to any venue or event.

American DJ introduces the Inno Color Beam 12, an ultra-compact, affordable RGBW LED intense beam moving head effect that weighs just 12lb. and is only nine-inches in length.

Powered by 12 3W CREE LEDs (three red, three green, three blue, and three white), the Inno Color Beam 12 produces super-bright, concentrated beams of colored light. It can also be used in all-white for a truly stunning effect. Whether in color or white, its narrow beams will pop out, filling the room with spectacular shafts of light, taking the user's visual show to a new professional level.

"With the Inno Color Beam 12, American DJ has brought intense high-impact beam effects, like those used by the top lighting pros, within reach of DJs, mobile entertainers, and small clubs," said Alfred Gonzales, national sales manager for American DJ. "Intense beam effects are one of the hottest things happening in entertainment lighting today -- you see them everywhere from world-class nightclubs to major concert tours to TV productions. Now you can add these powerful high-impact beams to your show, and look like a pro, with this easy-to-use, affordable and very mobile fixture."

According to the company, the Inno Color Beam 12 has been designed to professional-quality standards, including: precise RGBW color mixing to its 15-degree beam angle, which is narrow enough to shoot rays of light through any performance environment. The fixture also includes full 540-degree pan and 270-degree tilt; smooth stepper motors with micro-stepping; 0-100% dimming; LED strobe and pulse effect; and 12 built-in color macros.

The Inno Color Beam 12 can be run in two DMX channel modes (nine or 16-channel) for versatile programming options. The company says this versatile fixture can also be operated manually in sound active mode running to its built-in programs, or with American DJ's easy-to-use UC3 series controllers (sold separately), which give fingertip command over basic functions.

Multiple units can also be linked together master/slave for creating high-impact beam effects throughout larger venues and events. Each Inno Color Beam 12 unit includes three-pin XLR in/out and IEC AC in/out, as well as multi-voltage operation: 100V-240V, 50Hx/60Hz.

The company says the Inno Color Beam 12 is strictly "laid back" when it comes to its maintenance-free operation and low energy requirements. Its LEDs have a rating of 50,000 hours, so users won't have to deal with lamp burnouts and replacements. With a maximum power consumption of 53W, users won't be faced with circuit overloads or high electricity costs either.

Compactly designed for easy portability, the Inno Color Beam 12 measures 9"L x 8.75"W x 12"H / 224x219x302mm and weighs 12lb. / 5kg.
