Schnick Schnack Systems and TMB Sign Distribution Agreement

Colin Waters, CEO, TMB and Erhard Lehmann, CEO, Schnick Schnack Systems GmbH.

At this year's LDI Show, TMB's exclusive North American distribution of Schnick Schnack Systems was formally confirmed, with the two companies' CEOs shaking hands over their signed distribution agreement. TMB will offer the entire range of Schnick Schnack Systems' products plus full technical support.

Coinciding with Schnick Schnack Systems' North American TV debut on Season 13 of ABC's Dancing with the Stars, the agreement ensures that American designers and installers will have full access to, and 24/7 support for, the European LED accent lighting system.

Modular and easy to use, with a variety of mounting options, Schnick Schnack Systems can be installed and removed quickly, the company says. Versatile and reusable, these extremely flexible, modular systems are designed for rental companies and installers for a variety of applications including exhibits, stage sets, museums, tradeĀ¬ shows, and scenery.

Schnick Schnack Systems' strips, tiles, and panels in a variety of sizes, pitches, and control options are available with a selection of power supplies, interfaces, controllers, and software. High-bin LEDs ensure color consistency, intensity, and luminosity across the entire product range, and a unique color calibration system and dimming curve make Schnick Schnack Systems ideal for TV cameras, the company says.

"We are very happy to have TMB as our distribution partner," says Erhard Lehmann, CEO of Schnick Schnack Systems GmbH. "Their team has considerable expertise and shares the same customer driven philosophy. We both expect our unique and user-friendly LED systems to be well received by the American entertainment industry."

TMB product manager Melanie Lekaj asserts, "Once the North American market sees the truly flicker-free dimming of the Lehman Dimmer Curve on camera, they'll throw away all their old LEDs. Combine that with the simple install procedures and power supplies specifically designed for our industry, and they'll never look back. It's a game changer."
