1 SOUND Opens Showroom in VietnamThe Tinton Falls, New Jersey-based loudspeaker manufacturer 1 SOUND has appointed Sonos Libra Vietnam, based in Hanoi, to be its Vietnamese distributor. Leo Dani, a 1 Sound sales representative, was welcomed by Nguyen Duc Cuong, director of Sonos Libra Vietnam. Dani explored with the Sonos Libra team the tips and tricks of the product line, familiarizing them with rigging options and accessories as well as uploading DSP presets and setting up products in the showroom. On display there are the Cannon Coaxial Series, MiniSUB5, and Floor Subwoofers, along with a Tower System, a favorite among audio production companies, comprised of 1 Sound's proprietary cardioid Tower line array columns and a SUB310. Cuong and his team organized demonstrations for local companies immediately. "The audio market in Vietnam is growing fast, leading to consumer demand for high quality and good-origin products," he says. "Personally, I feel that 1 Sound is a high-quality product, providing accurate sound, high end, impressive design, suitable for the new demand in the Vietnam market." Dani says, "1 Sound only introduced the brand internationally in July 2022 and the feedback was immediately great, in the EU, in the Middle East, and, most of all, in Asia. Leonardo D'Andrea [another sales representative] and I joined the 1 Sound family with the task to develop the market in EMEA and APAC. My good friend Cuong, from Sonos Libra Vietnam, responded immediately to my call to discuss the partnership. I am honored and delighted to work with them as a distributor, one of the key players in their nation. Their technical skills are very high, and I am sure we will do a great job establishing the brand in the country. But this is just the beginning; we will announce new partnerships at the beginning of 2023, so stay tuned!"
