ETC to Sneak Preview New Products at USITT 2013

ETC's ES750 dimmer

No one's divulging the details yet, but word is that showgoers will be privileged to sneak previews of a major new ETC lighting control desk, new software, and some very special new ETC lighting fixtures at USITT 2013, the company says. ETC will have two booth spaces in Milwaukee's Delta Center -- #1100 and #1300.

Booth #1300 is ETC's "Layers of Light" theatre, where show-attendees will enjoy three ongoing educational presentations: Tom Littrell's "Designing for today's hybrid lighting rigs;" Steve Terry's "How to manage the transition to solid-state lighting;" and Michael Lichter's "Raising the bar: ETC Rigging's hoists and controls."

USITT attendees will also see ETC's new ES750 dimmer. ETC has taken their power-control expertise from the dimmer room to the lighting fixture itself. The ES750 dimmer can be attached to any brand incandescent fixture to distribute power control noiselessly -- just where it's needed. Indispensable control for today's hybrid lighting rigs containing incandescent and LED fixtures. As an RDM device, the ES750 dimmer can be operated and managed remotely. DMX-addressing, dimmer-curve changes, and status-information are right at the lighting console or computer. Or, for operation at the fixture, the ES750 has onboard controls.

ETC's standing-room-only USITT student session takes place this year on Friday, March 22, 5:30pm, at ETC's "Layers of Light" theatre, booth #1300. According to the company, students will meet ETC staff, score ETC swag, and get an insider-scoop on the latest ETC product news. (Note: Students must have ETC's special "student-only" pass to attend the session. They must pick up their pass during show hours, at ETC booth, #1100.)

Application for another popular student-centered perk is now open: ETC's all-expenses-paid LDI 2013 Student Sponsorship. See the URL below for more information, eligibility, and submission.
