dBTechnologies Appoints HWPco for Florida Representation dBTechnologies USA announces the expansion of its partnership with HWPco, extending the firm's representation to the state of Florida. Founded in 1970 by Henry W. Phillips, HWPco has grown from a traditional manufacturer's representative firm into a professional services organization (PSO) supporting more than 25 manufacturers across audio, video, lighting, security, IT networking, technical furniture, and infrastructure. Following a leadership transition in 2015, the company more than doubled in size and developed its "coreREP" sales-as-a-service platform, combining sales representation with technical services, training, and project support. "Florida represents a long-term growth market for HWPco based on sustained demand across enterprise, hospitality, and live-event verticals for dBTechnologies," says Kevin Duthu, principal, operations, HWPco. "As the market continues to evolve, expanding our presence allows us to invest more directly in consistent regional coverage, a unified message, deeper field engagement, and stronger technical support with professional services, ensuring manufacturers have the responsiveness, alignment, and execution required as project scale and complexity increase. Our approach is focused on strengthening the market through additional resources and long-term presence, enhancing coverage and support in a way that benefits both manufacturers and integrators while maintaining stability." To support the expansion, HWPco has established dedicated in-state coverage across Florida. "Our growth plan with dBTechnologies in Florida is focused on driving higher sales performance while significantly strengthening local market support and field engagement across all verticals," Duthu continues. "HWPco will have three representatives actively covering the state -- Linda Twine, based in Tampa; Daniel Plaza, based in West Palm Beach; and Josh Pope, covering the Florida Panhandle -- providing comprehensive coverage, faster response times, deeper customer relationships, and consistent technical and sales support statewide." "There's a huge excitement about working with dBTechnologies in Florida and unifying the experience across the Southeast," adds Patrick Oates, principal, sales, HWPco. "The energy of the market and the opportunity to expand support in a meaningful way is something we don't take lightly. We're really looking forward to delivering amazing sound technology and support to the Florida market." For dBTechnologies USA, the expansion represents a strategic investment in market presence and long-term growth. "We're excited to have one of our most accomplished and respected representative partners take on a territory like Florida, where opportunities are abundant," says Matthew Whitman, US national sales manager, dBTechnologies USA. "HWPco has impressed us from the start with their expertise and dedication, and we have significant plans for 2026 to expand dBTechnologies' presence -- efforts that will ultimately strengthen our marketing and brand visibility across the United States." "Florida is not simply another territory for us -- it is home to our US headquarters in Miami Beach," says Colin Studybaker, president, dBTechnologies USA. "As our operational center, it is where we coordinate service support and day-to-day customer communication. Strengthening our representation in the same state allows us to align field activity with our internal operations in a more direct and responsive way. "The location is also strategic from a global perspective. With regular collaboration and presence from our Italian headquarters, Miami Beach functions as a natural transatlantic point of connection for the company, where product development insight and commercial strategy remain closely connected to the realities of the North American market. It allows the organization to operate as a fully integrated extension of the global company rather than a remote satellite. Partnering with HWPco gives us a consistent, well-supported presence in a region that continues to grow in both project scale and technical expectations."
