Adam Hall's DEFENDER Launches LINKMATE in US

DEFENDER, an Adam Hall Group brand, announces its entry into the US and Canadian markets. With its new DEFENDER LINKMATE, the cable protector manufacturer from Germany is expanding its portfolio with an adapter solution that has been specially developed for the American market. LINKMATE allows common cable protector systems to be used in conjunction with the company's in-house MIDI cable protector system. DEFENDER therefore enables seamless and professional cable protection, even for mixed system inventories, without having to change existing workflows at events, in studios or on construction sites.

Whether on tour, at festivals or in industrial applications, cable protectors can vary depending on the area of application. DEFENDER LINKMATE is fully compatible with the five-channel systems widely used on the US market and thus ensures uniform cable protection, even with different systems from several manufacturers. The result is clean, safe and at the same time flexibly expandable cable routing that offers a high degree of planning reliability, the company says.

With LINKMATE, users in the US and Canada can combine the advantages of the DEFENDER MIDI series with their existing cable protection portfolio. With its sophisticated system, the MIDI covers a wide range of indoor and outdoor applications. Available in two versions -- with four or five cable channels -- the systems offer an axle load of 22,000lb and are suitable for a wide range of applications, such as events, festivals, sporting events, broadcast studios, shopping centers, trade shows, warehouses, heavy traffic on construction sites and many more. In addition, the MIDI 5 2D modular system with its low incline of 6 degrees enables optimum accessibility for wheelchair users, among others, and ensures high slip resistance thanks to the innovative DEFENDER 3D Lasergrip surface.

Like all DEFENDER cable protectors, the company says, LINKMATE is based on an extremely stable TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane), which is mainly made from recycled plastics and guarantees maximum durability in event and industrial applications. The cable protection systems also impress thanks to their patented self-cleaning hinges and a tool-free Easy Lock system that protects against accidental opening of the cover. In addition to an operating temperature range of approx. 22 degrees F to 140 degrees F, all DEFENDER cable protectors have a UL94 V-2 HB flammability rating and are resistant to oil, acid and petrol.

DEFENDER says it places great emphasis on sustainable manufacturing. In this context, 90% of DEFENDER's materials are recycled in-house -- from shredding to granulation. The materials are sourced entirely from Germany, exclusively from certified companies. This ensures that DEFENDER products contain no environmentally harmful PVC. Like all DEFENDER solutions, LINKMATE is manufactured entirely in Germany and comes with a five-year warranty.
