Rosco Announces New Dance Floor Surface Duette

Rosco announces the release of Duette -- a reversible, widewidth, vinyl dance surface for touring productions and studio installations. Duette is manufactured to be dimensionally stable. It features a woven glass fiber reinforcement interlayer that is manufactured between two outer vinyl layers, which inhibits expansion and shrinkage due to temperature fluctuation. This unique construction enables Duette to resist rippling and buckling to provide easy and stressfree floor installation, the company says.

In addition, thanks to its wide 78.7" (2m) width, Duette requires fewer panels to roll out and fewer seams to tape, which results in quick installation times. "We developed Duette in response to customer feedback," notes Pierre Bordeleau, Rosco's floor product consultant for North America. "It is wonderful to have this new wide-width marley floor that instantly lays flat so that our customers can cover their dance floor spaces quickly and efficiently."

Duette is well suited for Ballet, Modern, Jazz, or Hip-Hop dance styles, and it can be installed temporarily or semi-permanently. It is available in reversible black/grey or black/white, and its matte, non-skid finish provides a medium floor speed.
