ADJ Launches Hydro Flex L7

The Hydro Flex L7's motorized zoom offers a beam angle range of four to 38 degrees.

ADJ's Hydro Series is expanding with the introduction of the Hydro Flex L7, a compact IP65-rated LED wash fixture designed to deliver versatile effects and exceptional output, rain, or shine.

The unit is billed as ideal for applications where space is limited but performance is non-negotiable. It features seven 60W RGBL LEDs, capable, the company says, of generating vibrant saturated colors, subtle pastels, and crisp white tones (with color temperature variable between 2,700K and 10,000K). Each LED is carefully color calibrated at the factory, to ensure flawless consistency between fixtures from batch to batch, the company adds. The inclusion of lime in the LED source boosts both CRI and overall output, ensuring illuminated people and objects appear more natural and vibrant. Individually controllable LEDs allow for animated pixel effects.

The Hydro Flex L7's motorized zoom offers a beam angle range of four to 38 degrees. The included programming tools allow easy integration into different workflows; these include built-in color macros and color temperature presets, a virtual CMY mode and pre-programmed pixel effects with virtual background and foreground color wheel control.

Offering an output of up to 5,600 lumens, weighing in at just 35.3lb. and measuring just 9.73" by 14.14" by 18.23", the unit is housed in a robust IP65-rated enclosure, fully protected from dust, moisture, and rain.

it is equipped with an Aria X2 transceiver, allowing for both wireless DMX control and remote fixture management, including OTA (over the air) firmware updates. Both five-pin DMX and RJ45 sockets are also provided for cabled control, and the unit is compatible with the Art-Net, sACN, and KlingNet control protocols, as well as standard DMX512 with RDM support.

"Building on the solid foundation set by the original Hydro Wash X7, the new Hydro Flex L7 ramps up the output and adds all the benefits of lime-infused LEDs," comments Alfred Gonzales, ADJ USA's director of sales. "The result is a compact and agile all-weather fixture that offers unrivalled build quality, features and output for its price-point."
