Adamson to Showcase S-Series and IS-Series at 2017 PLASA Show

Adamson Systems' IS7 premium loudspeaker

Adamson Systems Engineering, in collaboration with its UK distributor, The Warehouse Sound Services, will be exhibiting at this year's PLASA Show at Olympia in London September 17 - 19, 2017, in booth V11. The company will be showcasing its S-Series and new IS-Series of premium loudspeakers, with key personnel from Adamson and The Warehouse on-hand to greet visitors.

Adamson's lauded S-Series of tour-grade loudspeakers, including the flagship S10, will be on display. The two-way, true line source sub-compact line array cabinet has been deployed in the UK for recent shows by the likes of Bryan Adams and Shawn Mendes, plus major events like the Edinburgh Festival production of Trainspotting, Rock the Stadium in Falkirk with Madness and Jess Glynne, and the Montrose Music Festival, headlined by The Beach Boys and Deacon Blue.

Additionally, this summer, The Warehouse deployed over 100 Adamson loudspeakers -- including the S10 -- at the Virgin Money Fireworks Concert, which closed out the Edinburgh International Festival with a performance by the Scottish Chamber Orchestra.

At PLASA 2017, Adamson and The Warehouse are also launching the install-focused IS-Series in the UK, which packs the company's sophisticated tour-grade technology into sleek architecturally friendly boxes with rugged and unobtrusive rigging solutions. The series is currently comprised of the IS7 and IS10 two-way, full range line array cabinets and complementing IS118 and IS119 subwoofers.

The IS7 and IS10 are loaded with two 7" and 10" Kevlar Neodymium drivers, respectively. Their critically optimized waveguides produce a slightly curved wavefront and allow for increased vertical dispersion without sacrificing high-frequency presence in the far field. Adamson's patented controlled summation technology further eliminates lobing usually associated with two-way line source systems.

For ultra-precise impulse response, the IS118 and IS119 subwoofers are loaded with lightweight, long excursion 18" and 19" ND19 Kevlar Neodymium drivers, respectively. Both utilize Adamson's advanced cone architecture for exceptional power handling. The drivers are mounted in an ultra-efficient, front-loaded enclosure, designed to reproduce clean, musical low-frequency information.

IS-Series cabinets use marine-grade birch plywood and aircraft-grade steel. All models come standard with two NL4 connectors and can also be ordered with barrier strips.

Adamson personnel attending PLASA 2017 will include: Jochen Sommer, director of European operations; Jasper Ravesteijn, EMEA sales director; Thomas Vestergaard, technical support Europe; and Marc Weber, director of product and brand management from Adamson's Canadian headquarters.

Warehouse staff in the booth will include: Justin Frost, brand manager; Gavin Jenkinson, sales manager; and directors Janet Murray and Derek Blair.

The Warehouse Sound Services is the UK distributor for Adamson. The company has invested heavily in Adamson equipment over the past year to further establish the brand's reputation in the rental and installation markets within the UK.
