LD Systems Launches ANNY Portable PA SystemLD Systems extends the ANNY series with new products: with the ANNY 12, the German manufacturer presents a battery-powered, mobile two-way full-range PA system in 12" format that combines the lifestyle flexibility of a Bluetooth speaker with the audio quality, performance, and connection options of a professional PA speaker. Whether for musicians and bands, DJs, schools and clubs, or for event organizers and rental service providers, ANNY 12 is at home wherever high-quality sound is required quickly, the company says, easily and without a power socket. ANNY 12 is based on an active two-way loudspeaker system with a 12" woofer and 1.4" tweeter, which, with a sound pressure level of up to 122dB (peak) and an output of 185W RMS, delivers noticeably more punch than the format suggests, even in larger areas -- from spontaneous live sessions and sports and dance classes to city festivals, youth centers, event centers and trade fair stands. For self-sufficient operation, ANNY 12 relies on a long battery life of up to 50 hours (in ECO mode) and the hot-swap concept to enable the four battery modules to be replaced and charged without interruption, even during operation. Like the other models in the series -- ANNY 10 and ANNY 8 -- ANNY 12 is also designed as an all-in-one PA solution. The integrated six-channel mixer has a three-band EQ and effects such as delay and reverb. Two microphone/line inputs, a stereo channel (3.5mm jack or RCA) and Bluetooth 5.0 are available for the flexible connection of microphones, instruments and external equipment. For wireless applications, ANNY 12 has two slots for wireless receiver modules (with 12dB more gain), which can be combined with handheld microphones or bodypacks. ANNY 12 has a priority/ducking mode for speech reinforcement, which automatically lowers the level of other signals as soon as speech is heard. At the same time, the DynX DSP (Generation 2) ensures transparent and low-distortion sound even at high levels. Thanks to True Wireless Stereo (TWS), two ANNY systems can also be paired wirelessly quickly and easily and operated as a powerful stereo PA. The design of the ANNY series is consistently geared towards portability -- and ANNY 12 is no exception: castors, a telescopic handle and additional side carrying handles make transport and handling easier when travelling. In addition, practical floor protection ensures that the housing is not damaged by abrasion or scratches when rolling, pulling and positioning. LD Systems also offers an optional protective cover for using ANNY 12 in the rain.
