Tyler Provides Continued Support to Bandit with Constant Inventory Expansion

Lighting company Bandit Lites recently made a sizeable investment in more truss from Tyler Truss to enhance their existing stock and provide their clients with the industry's best options. Tyler has produced a large number of custom pieces for Bandit, including pods, curved trusses, custom circles, and even a special Tyler "Claw."

"Bandit has been using Tyler GT truss for well over ten years now and for large stadium, arena, and amphitheater productions, this pre-hung lighting truss ticks all the boxes for speed, truck/warehouse space, and convenience," says Bandit Lites production director Dizzy Gosnell.

"It speeds up prep in the shop as we can compress and expand the system easily on its wheels while we hang, cable, and label. We can mothball a lighting system more efficiently if the tour takes a break for a few weeks."

Tyler GT truss can be seen on multiple productions, including David "Gig" Butzler's design for The Garth Brooks Stadium Tour, Travis Shirley's design for the Rascal Flatts Summer Playlist Tour, and Nick Whitehouse's design for Jason Aldean's Ride All Night Tour.

"Tyler's response time and attention to detail is also very good, which, for the added corners and doo-dads, we need to use the truss in multiple configurations is key," says Gosnell. "It's all very well having lots of straight truss, lots of people can do that. It is the accessories, options and response time that make the difference. We have really pushed Tyler hard in getting all sorts of curved and circle GT trusses of all sizes in the last decade, and Tyler just keeps coming back with, 'They're on the truck to you now.'"

"It seems that every month we have a new special need, and Tyler is always there for us," says Bandit Lites chair Michael T. Strickland. "Regardless of the timeline or the uniqueness of the job, Jason Tello and the team at Tyler always deliver. We owe them a large debt of gratitude."
