Advatek PixLite Mk3 3.13.0 Firmware Update Includes Five-Channel Control Advatek Lighting, maker of PixLite LED pixel controllers, announces firmware V3.13.0, which introduces native five-channel pixel support across the PixLite Mk3 range, with direct control of RGBCCT (red, green, blue plus correlated color temperature) pixels. This update expands PixLite Mk3's capabilities by supporting pixels that combine vibrant color and adjustable white in a single fixture. The result, the company says, is finer color control, simpler installation, fewer cables, and a more consistent output than running separate RGB and white strips. When color quality matters, the company adds, warm and cool white can now be tuned independently for better white-light control, while RGB channels can be refined to better match surrounding visual elements. PixLite Mk3's gamma correction and dithering across all five channels are said to deliver smoother low-level dimming and higher quality output. Other features include direct five-channel mapping from DMX, Art-Net, and sACN, with eight-bit and 16-bit support; DMX512 integration via the aux port for five-channel DMX fixtures alongside pixel outputs; simplified testing and commissioning with updated test modes and improved color-ordering tool; and expanded SHOWTime control with independent adjustment of RGB, warm white, and cool white outputs. SHOWTime, a built-in feature set included with every PixLite Mk3 controller, enables the controller to operate autonomously by recording lighting data from third-party control systems and playing it back directly from a user-supplied industrial microSD card installed in the controller. All recorded content, playlists, and triggers are accessed and managed through the PixLite Mk3 web-based user interface.
