Lumenpulse Elects Bill Sims, Former CEO of Color Kinetics to Board of Directors

Lumenpulse Inc., an innovator and manufacturer of high performance, architectural LED-based lighting solutions for commercial, institutional, and urban environments, today announced that Bill Sims has joined its board. The company also introduced its executive team.

Sims, the resident and CEO of Joule Unlimited, Inc, an alternative energy company, is well known in the LED industry as the former CEO of Color Kinetics, a pioneer in intelligent LED illumination.

"Having helped LED technology grow from specialty markets to widespread use, I can see that Lumenpulse is a fast-emerging leader with its combination of advanced design, breadth of product offerings and superior performance. All three are critical to gaining a strong foothold in the architectural lighting market," said Sims. "I'm very pleased to help guide the company in its next phase of growth as the technology continues to evolve and enable new, exciting applications."

Sims joins Francois-Xavier Souvay, founder, president, and CEO of Lumenpulse, on the board, as well as Nicolas Bélanger, the co-founder of W Investments Inc., a private Canadian investment firm. Bélanger was also co-founder and CEO of DTI Software, a maker of in-flight entertainment software that was sold in 2008 to German group Advanced Inflight Alliance AG.

"Bill, along with our new executive team, brings tremendous industry experience and know-how, and an impressive track record of success. They will help Lumenpulse continue to execute on its ambitious growth plans," said Souvay. "By joining Lumenpulse, they validate our business and vision and will be tremendous assets as we move to the next level in the company's development."
