Luke Lewis Takes Over Warehouse at Spectrum Productions

Luke Lewis, Spectrum Productions

Spectrum Productions, Inc. welcomed Luke Lewis as the newest member of its Atlanta, Georgia-based team in August. Lewis took over operations of the warehouse in the Spectrum Productions event support center which provides high volume support to Spectrum's production events nationally. Lewis has an extensive background in operations and warehouse management in the special events industry.

Getting his start as a freelance event carpenter and stagehand, Lewis has used his firsthand knowledge of on-site procedure to increase the efficiency of both the warehouse and set/strike protocol, saving the company and client money. Previously, Lewis managed the warehouse for a regionally dominant catering firm and a multi-national video event production company. When asked how his experience in the catering world prepared him for his role at Spectrum Productions he stated, "The attention to the most minute of details and the time sensitivity in a large catering event is enormous. The number of individual components that must be tracked and delivered in pristine condition to be set in exacting time constraints is universal across most professions in special events."

Originally from Philadelphia, Lewis is dad to two rescued Bassett Hounds, Boris and Vernon. When he isn't enjoying his first love, spending time on the drums, his free time is spent restoring a 1972 Suburban. But mostly, Lewis enjoys improving the efficiency and cost effectiveness of Spectrum's support services. "Running a high volume, fast paced, rental and staging warehouse requires incredible attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines. Luke gets it done," remarked company president Greg Gardner.

Spectrum Productions is a provider of audiovisual rentals and services. The company was founded in 1988 and serves the event and broadcast audiovisual rental and staging market. Spectrum Productions allows meeting planners and producers nationwide to have access to a wide variety of audio, video, lighting, and scenic for meetings and events. The company provides production services and rental of AV equipment for events in major markets including Atlanta, Orlando, and Miami.
