Tony Award Winners Announced

The Tony Awards were handed out last night at Radio City Music Hall. Leading the way were two productions from the UK: the revival of Company and the drama The Lehman Trilogy, each of which took five awards. The musical MJ took four awards.

The award for Best Play went to The Lehman Trilogy, with A Strange Loop taking the nod for Best Musical. Company was cited as Best Musical Revival and Take Me Out won for Best Play Revival.

The Lehman Trilogy took two awards, for Es Devlin's scenery and Jon Clark's lighting. MJ also took two awards for Natasha Katz's lighting and Gareth Owen's sound design. Other winners include Bunny Christie for the scenic design of Company, Montana Levi Blanco for the costume design of The Skin of Our Teeth, Gabriella Slade for the costume design of Six, and Mikhail Fiksel for the sound design of Dana H..
