Behringer's new Pro Mixer DJX900USB builds on the legacy of their Pro Mixer DJX750 with the addition of USB connectivity and the infinium "contact- free" VCA-controlled optical crossfader. Crossfader tension is adjustable and a dedicated CF Curve control provides customization of the crossfader's control characteristics. The DJX900USB also includes an FX processor with real-time FX parameter changes for custom-tailored effects. The dedicated mic channel's adjustable "ducking" automatically lowers the music level and vocal fine-tuning is handled via onboard 3-band EQ, providing up to 15dB of boost/cut at low (80Hz), mid (2.5 k), and high (12kHz) frequency centers.

It features built-in dual Auto BPM Counters to help make smooth transitions between tracks, providing the tempo difference and visual confirmation when they are in sync. XPQ 3D Surround widens the stereo field, and input sources can be line level, phono, CD, tape decks, MP3, or minidisk players.
