The Producers Group Adds New Shanghai Location

The Producers Group LLC (TPG), international attraction production specialists, have established a new office in Shanghai to keep pace with the firm's expanding markets in China. In addition to the company's existing Beijing sales office, the Shanghai location will allow TPG to have more immediate interaction with clients throughout China, as well as the rest of Asia.

"We have several clients in mainland China, as well as other areas of Asia. It makes sense from a business perspective to have direct contact available in the region," says executive producer and co-CEO Edward Marks.

"Managing the production of breakthrough, unique visitor attractions requires constant interaction with the client and the project team and that's something that TPG strives to maintain," says executive producer and co-CEO, Bob Chambers. "The new Shanghai office will allow us to be even more timely and responsive to our development partners."

TPG's Shanghai location was selected in conjunction with new VP of business development, Brian Paiva. "TPG's effort is to utilize Chinese resources on our projects as much as possible. Shanghai is a huge hub for talent and vendors. Collaborating locally has a positive impact on the Chinese market, which is an important component of our success there," says Paiva.

To manage the Shanghai location, TPG has engaged Praveen Rao as operations director. "This is truly an exciting opportunity," says Praveen. "I look forward to working with the team at The Producers Group to grow their already impressive roster throughout Asia."
