Robe Gets Organized in Turkey with Large Investment

Robe's sales director Harry von den Stemmen (second from left) with staff members from Organizer

Organizer, a versatile event management, planning, production, and technical solutions company based in Ankara, Turkey, has just made a substantial investment in new Robe moving lights -- involving 150 fixtures.

The company has a reputation for quality and delivering imaginative shows and events. This is their first purchase of Robe.

The units were delivered by Robe's Turkish distributor Atempo, and will be used to service Organizer's client base on a wide variety of productions in Turkey and internationally.

In keeping with the company's reputation for innovation and forward thinking, they wanted to invest in technologies that offered flexible possibilities both now and in the future ... "So we chose Robe," state directors Sermurat Kucukgul and Yildiray Yildiz.

The fixture list includes 56 MMX Spots, 32 LEDWash 800s, 16 MMX WashBeams, 24 LEDBeam 100s, 16 LEDWash 600s, and six LEDWash 300s -- all from Robe's Robin series.

Organizer is confident they have made the right decision, "The brand is powerful and the units are tough and well-made as well as being affordable," says Yildiz.

From a rental company perspective, Yildiz thinks the lights are excellent creative tools for all the lighting designers who will be using them, as well as practical and functional. "We feel that Robe is the leading moving light manufacturer worldwide right now," he asserts.

Reliability was of particular importance and also a major reason they decided to replace all their previous moving light stock with the new Robes. They noted the MMX Spots are powerful, lightweight and compact; that the MMX WashBeam is a multi-purpose fixture; and the tiny LEDBeam 100s are ideal for special effects in a diverse range of shows and presentations.

Yildiz adds that he already knows that the service and after-sales support from Atempo will be excellent and fast.

Among the first events for the new fixtures will be the 2013 Turkish Language Olympiad, being staged in nine different cities in June, where students of the language will complete for titles like: grammar, oral skills, writing essays, reciting poems, singing songs, theatre, and general culture.

The lighting designs for these assorted shows will be created by two of Organizer's full time lighting designers, Salih Yalcin and Volkan Buyrukoglu.

Robe's sales director Harry von den Stemmen comments, "Together with Müjdat and Volkan Konuralp of Atempo, whom I have known and trusted for many years, I am very excited about this major move in the rental and production world in Turkey."

"Organizer is making a very bold step ahead with their investment into such a wide array of Robe fixtures. I am impressed with their decision, and they are not only buying what are currently the most sought after products on the market, but they also have Robe's absolute commitment and support," concluded von den Stemmen.
