Listen Technologies Names New Regional Sales Manager

Micheline "Mikey" Shaffer

Listen Technologies Corporation, provider of advanced wireless listening solutions for 22 years, has named Micheline "Mikey" Shaffer western regional sales manager. Shaffer will lead the team selling Listen Technologies' full suite of solutions, including Listen EVERYWHERE, ListenTalk, ListenRF, and ListenIR, to dealers, integrators, consultants, and manufacturer resentative firms throughout the Western US.

Shaffer has worked in the assistive technology industry for ten years and is a passionate advocate for inclusion. She joined Listen Technologies in 2016 and most recently was vertical market sales manager. Before Listen Technologies, Shaffer was a telecommunications equipment specialist at Relay Utah where she worked directly with low-income deaf and hard of hearing Utahans to provide solutions for their telecommunications needs.

"I am excited to take on this role at Listen Technologies and lead sales for the Western Region," says Shaffer. "At Listen Technologies, I can marry my experience working with the deaf and hard of hearing community with my passion for fostering inclusion and recommending the latest technology to help people overcome communication challenges and engage with one another. I work with a terrific group of colleagues, partners, and customers who inspire me every day."

Shaffer has a successful record of achieving consistent year-over-year growth as a sales leader. She describes herself as an "avid learn-it-all" who seeks opportunities for new knowledge and growth.

Shaffer will report to Sam Nord, vice president of global sales at Listen Technologies, in her new role.

"Mikey is an exemplary leader who motivates team members with her enthusiasm and commitment to the group's success," says Nod. "She continually anticipates trends, learns about new technologies, and aims to understand as much as possible about the industries and individual customers she serves so she can offer creative solutions to meet their needs. She also gets to know her colleagues and champions them."

Shaffer has a bachelor of science degree in marketing management. She is a foster parent, advocate for unaccompanied refugee minors, and a board member for the Guest Relations Association. She lives with her family in California.
