GearSource Introduces New Brand Identity and Logo

GearSource, a global marketplace for pre-owned production gear, has unveiled a new brand identity and log. Thousands of vendors and customers all over the world use GearSource for their production gear needs and the new brand represents a richer articulation of the company's mission and vision.

The most prominent part of the new GearSource brand is the logo. It represents motion being strongly driven with passion about life, production, and gear. It also shows that in life everyone just needs to put one foot in front of the next to create movement. "GO in life," "Go Global," "Go online," "Go sell," "Go buy," and "Go" make the next production the best it can be -- with GearSource as a production partner.

"The concept behind the logo is 'GO' and with luck, our company name has that hidden message within it. 'Go sell it' . . . 'Go shopping' . . . 'Go online' . . . just Go. This concept plays a strong message within our brand. Our team was excited to see that as soon as we stacked our company name and lined up the 'Gear' and 'Source' there was the'GO' magic," shared Marcel Fairbairn.

"Finally, the tagline -- your global source for gear -- speaks to the fact that we have offices located in some of the most "power house" production locations in the world and will always be expanding. Artists are global -- manufacturers are global -- productions are global, so why would you trade gear with a company that is not?
