Gig Gear's Two Hand Touch Tablet Harness Now Shipping Gig Gear LLC, maker of Gig Gloves -- manufacturer of accessories specifically designed for musicians, audio production pros, live event techs, and entertainment production professionals -- announces that its new Two Hand Touch Tablet Harness is now shipping. The Two Hand Touch (THT) is a lightweight harness that is worn over the shoulders and across the chest allowing AV techs and other audio professionals the ability to use both hands on apps that allow for multi-touch capabilities. The THT also keeps the iPad out of the way, but makes it immediately accessible when necessary. The THT is ideal for two-hand, multi-touch control during remote mixing or remote tuning of a room. The Two Hand Touch also helps techs wirelessly control systems in large venues without having to carry around the tablet and reduces the risk of dropped tablets. "The iPad has become ubiquitous in practically every industry, and the AV industry is no different," said Danny Shatzkes, founder of Gig Gear LLC. "Using an iPad on a build, installation, or integrated venue can be very beneficial for so many different tasks, however having to carry it around constantly can become cumbersome. Gig Gear's Two Hand Touch will allow AV pros the opportunity to utilize their iPads and tablets in a far more efficient and ergonomic manner, eliminating the need to physically carry it around all day, while still providing immediate access. Two models are currently available: the Two Hand Touch 9 and the Two Hand Touch 12, which are designed to fit the standard iPad 9.7" size and the iPad Pro 12.9" size, respectively. With multiple elastic bands in different configurations included on the inside of the case, tablets and phones of all sizes can easily be secured as well. When not in use, the case flattens up against the harness and can be secured out of the way. On the front of the case are convenient pockets and pouches that can hold multiple accessories and tools including, pens, a dB meter, microphones (both handheld and measurement), gaffers tape, cables, radios, picks, drum keys, wrenches, allen keys, and more.
