Bandit Lites Wins Pollstar Award for Best Concert Visuals Bandit Lites was awarded Best Concert Visuals at the 33rd annual Pollstar Awards. Hosted by Steve Treviño and held once again at Los Angeles' Beverly Hilton, the Pollstar Awards honor artists, tours, festivals, promoters, venues, agents, managers, talent buyers, and production companies who have achieved excellence in live events from the past year. This is Bandit Lites 27th Lighting Company of the Year related win. "This year's Pollstar Awards is a celebration of live entertainment, and we salute the winners, nominees, and all who participate in the greatest business there is," says Ray Waddell president of media and conferences for Oak View Group, Pollstar's parent company. Michael T. Strickland, Bandit Lites chair and founder, accepted the award, saying, "Bandit is again humbled and flattered by this recognition from our peers. As The Pollstar Awards emanate from the artists, managers, agents, facilities, and promoters, we are extremely honored to be recognized by this esteemed group." Strickland also took time to praise the live events industry's commitment to relief, noting that it was united effort to pass relief bills such as Save Our Stages, and such a united effort is once again needed to pass The MUSIC ACT and help those who were left behind.
