Elation Launches Multi-Color and Warm White Ellipsoidal Spots

	Elation Professional's Colour 5 Profile

Elation Professionalannounces two new ellipsoidal spot fixtures with the superior quality of light required for broadcast and theatre environments, the multi-color Colour 5 Profile and the warm-white WW Profile.

Both the Colour 5 Profile and WW Profile emit an exceptionally flat field of light with CRI's over 94 for more faithful reproduction of an object's color. Both luminaires support multiple interchangeable lens options -- 19-degrees, 26-degrees, 36-degrees, and 50-degrees (sold separately) -- making for highly effective and highly flexible directional spot luminaires. Manual focus and a four-blade framing system allow for full control of the beam shape for more precise illumination with less light spill. Both luminaires support B-size metal or HT transparency gobos for custom gobo projections.

The Colour 5 Profile is an ellipsoidal spot that houses a 180W five-color RGBAM LED engine (red, green, blue, amber, mint) for an expanded palette of colors, including stunning ambers and true whites. The "mint" LED incorporated in the LED engine enhances the production of variable white color temperatures from 3,200K to 6,500K and increases the CRI. The Colour 5 Profile emits 4,100 lumens of power. Colors mix uniform from vibrant saturates across beautiful pastels to authentic warm and cool shades of white.

The WW Profile is an ellipsoidal spot that projects a soft, warm white light that is ideal for illuminating speakers, highlighting performers, or emphasizing on-stage scenery. Powered by a 130W warm white 3,000K LED engine, this pro-level product gives an output of 6,700 lumens with a max energy consumption of only 160W, which is more efficient than traditional warm white luminaires.

Both the Colour 5 Profile and WW Profile include a DMX-controllable electronic strobe for pulse effects and are 0-100% dimmable for full control of light intensity. A selection of variable dimming curves is also provided for faster programming. A host of other features come standard like multi-channel DMX control, three- and five-pin DMX in/out, PowerCON in/out connections, and a four-button control panel with LCD menu display. An integrated rigging yoke allows for easy hanging and an auto-sensing power supply means the fixtures can operate anywhere in the world. Both luminaires operate flicker free and are excellent choices when variable colored or warm white light is required in television, film, or theatre.
