Christie Promotes Creative Tools for Stagers and Designers at LDI 2017

Christie Spyder X80 multi-screen windowing processor

Christie continues to expand the creative horizon with its newest end-to-end solutions for stagers and designers, which will be on display at the LDI 2017 show from November 17 - 19 in the Las Vegas Convention Center. Attendees have the opportunity to experience the new Christie Crimson projector that provides vibrant, crisp visuals and stretches the boundaries of lampless projection. Additionally, the Christie booth 2037 will feature Christie Boxer 4K30, Christie Pandoras Box, and Christie Mystique. Christie Spyder X80 and Christie Terra will also make their LDI debut, showcasing state-of-the-art processing.

"Christie delivers the tools to enable stagers and designers to be creative without limits," said Kathryn Cress, vice president, global and corporate marketing, Christie. "Our goal is to offer world-class products, such as the new Christie Crimson Series projectors, that empower creative, reliable, and repeatable visual experiences."

Christie Crimson Series of 3DLP laser phosphor projectors makes its global debut at LDI 2017, delivering up to 25,000 ISO lumens, 60Hz processing, and Christie BoldColor technology. The projector is compact and rugged while delivering low cost of ownership for rental, staging, and fixed installation customers.

Attendees are offered insight into Christie visual display expertise at one of the many LDI 2017 training sessions. Geoffrey Platt, media server solutions manager at Christie, will deliver a tour of one of the most feature-packed media servers on the market today. "Opening Christie's Pandoras Box Version 6: A Quick Introduction'" takes place on November 18 at 9:00am in room N230 of the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Making its LDI debut is Christie Terra. Available in three versions and built on standardized Software Defined Video over Ethernet (SDVoE) technology, Christie Terra is an AV-over-IP solution that supports video formats up to 4K at 60Hz and provides unprecedented performance capabilities including the delivery of uncompressed, zero-frame latency, artifact-free video using affordable 10G Ethernet components.

Thanks to Christie Mystique, even the most intricate projector configurations take minutes, not hours, to align -- saving enormous overhead costs for users. Each version of Mystique -- including the new Christie Mystique Install 3D Projection Mapping Edition -- flawlessly integrates with the Pandoras Box video processing and show control system, to create customized, memorable experiences.

Also making its debut at LDI 2017, the company says the Christie Spyder X80 delivers 400 percent more pixel management capacity than anything on the market and is the only video processor capable of managing 4K at a 60Hz refresh rate on every channel.

For events requiring high-performance, high-impact LED display walls, attendees can experience Christie Velvet LED. Designed for easy installation, operation, and maintenance, Christie Velvet enables designers to harness the power and efficiency of LED to engage clients and customers, share information, and entertain in unique and innovative ways while offering system-level certification, 24/7 operation and 100,000 hours of service-life.
