RATstands Introduces Duo and Trio Advanced Lights for Next Generation Venues and Orchestras

RATstands have added two new lights -- the Duo and Trio -- to their LED light range that feature advanced design and capability for orchestras, theatres, performing arts centers, other performance venues, and distinguished performers wanting the best music stand lights available.

The Duo provides a large illumination area and is bright enough for any situation and yet the superb cut off ensures that the light falls on the music score and nowhere else. The LEDs produce warm white light and will give years of maintenance free use. LEDs offer the same control as traditional bulbs and have a longer life expectancy, ending replacement costs.

Duo LED lights can be externally dimmed from a control desk or other house system using either direct voltage control or wirelessly using RATstands' Radio DMX system. The unit is double insulated for safety and its very slim housing does not obstruct the musician's view of the conductor. DUO LED lights includes three meters of cable with an in-line switch and is available in mains powered or 24V versions. It is available for use with the world renowned RATstands opera stand or as a universal clip light for using existing music stands.

The Trio LED light provides additional capability and perhaps is the best music light available anywhere. The (light) color temperature can be controlled from the desk or by the musician as can the light level making for easy reading of yellowed scores without the tiring effect of the more common cold white LEDs.

Like The Duo, the Trio LED light can be dimmed just like any ordinary incandescent light, either with wired power control or via wireless using RATstands radio DMX. The Trio LED light is currently available in 24V only.

Both lights are designed with over 30 years of experience in music stand light design. They use large super LEDs that produces pure white light so that the music it illuminates has more contrast and reduces the impact of old yellowing paper. The lights and their LEDs are virtually indestructible and never wear out, so you will never again have to change a bulb in the middle of a performance. Over the lifetime of the product lower electricity bills and the absence of bulb replacements costs will easily repay their initial investment in state-of-the- art music stand lights.

The Duo and Trio feature very high quality materials and are engineered to provide a long life and high investment value. Clip versions combine a strong universal clip and easily adjustable yet extremely strong gooseneck.
